Apple Watch Ultra is the largest, most feature-heavy, most rugged and wildest Apple Watch Ever.
Design
The new Ultra Watch comes in three different loops (straps) and each one has different implementations, as each is built for different scenarios to tackle the extreme weather and you can through at a smartwatch. An elastomeric ocean band with a tubular shape fits over a wetsuit and is compatible with the first Apple Watch to meet the EN13319 international standard for dive computers for scuba diving to depths of 130 feet. Designed for endurance athletes, the Trail Loop is constructed from lightweight textiles for a comfortable, close fit. The thinnest strap yet with tabs for easy adjustment. Aimed at the ‘explorer’, the Alpine Loop is woven without stitches for thinness and comfort.
A highlight of the Apple Watch Ultra is the new action button (painted in high-contrast International Orange) on the far left. This, in addition to the raised buttons and the large Digital Crown on the right side, Apple says is easy to navigate, even with gloves on. It gives you instant access to a variety of features such as waypoints, backtracking, and more.”
If you think the design is done, it’s not. The Apple Watch Ultra also comes with new straps designed for a variety of extreme outdoor sports enthusiasts. There are trail loops for athletes and runners, alpine loops with strong threads and G-hooks, and ocean bands for those who love extreme water sports and recreational diving.

The Apple Watch Ultra is priced at $799 in the US. This rugged smartwatch can be ordered today and will be available from September 23rd.
