OnePlus 10 Pro is now available in China.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is officially available in China, and we have all of the details, including the design.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is the company’s next flagship phone, and it’s finally here.

OnePlus 10 Pro will be released. With no mention of a normal OnePlus 10 or the anticipated 10R variant for India and China. OnePlus has at least disclosed the phone’s remarkable design and the majority of its specifications.

Oneplus 10 Pro is now available in China. But when will the OnePlus 10 Pro be available to the rest of the world, and what happened to the OnePlus 10?

Relase Date for the OnePlus 10 Pro

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 10 Pro in China on 11 January, after first revealing the phone at CES 2022.

While new OnePlus flagships often debut in mid-spring, we have received this one a bit early – or at least, China did. Since we have no definite information on when the phone will be released in different countries. The business has stated that it would launch in “India, Europe, and North America later in 2022,” so it is definitely coming.

A China-first launch isn’t typical for OnePlus, but leaker Max Jambor hinted at it when he posted this schedule. Which says the phone will be available worldwide in March/April.

How much will the OnePlus 10 Pro cost?

OnePlus has only released the 10 Pro in China so far, which means we only have local pricing. Here’s how much it costs in US dollars, with conversions to other currencies as a guide:

  • 8+128GB – RMB 4699 ($740/£540/€650)
  • 8+256GB – RMB 4999 ($785/£575/€690)
  • 12+256GB – RMB 5299 ($830/£610/€730)

Design

The phone’s official design was first presented by OnePlus, however, it’s not new to us, since the identical design was leaked by OnLeaks and Zouton back in November of last year.

The 10 Pro will be available in Volcanic Black and Emerald Green, according to OnePlus, but an OnLeaks leak indicates that the phone will also be available in white and light blue. We haven’t seen any official signs of either, so they might be a long way off.

Camera

Some phones include amazing zoom cameras, such as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra’s 48MP 5x zoom camera and the Huawei P50 Pro’s 64MP 3.5x zoom camera.

The OnePlus 9 didn’t even feature a zoom camera, while the OnePlus 9 Pro’s snapper was only 8MP 3.3x. Sure, that’s not bad, but if you’re spending a lot of money, you’d expect a little more.

The OnePlus 10 should include a telephoto camera, even if it’s only 12MP or 2x zoom, while the OnePlus 10 Pro should have a periscope camera with 4x or 5x zoom and a higher-resolution sensor. Even if it didn’t help the Pro compete with the big dogs, with the S22 Ultra expected to feature super-zoom and the Xiaomi 12 possibly getting a Pro version as well, it would at least be more deserving of its price.

Display

OnePlus has announced that a 120Hz AMOLED display would be available, with LTPO 2.0 technology providing a dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. The original version of the same technology was used in the 9 Pro, but OnePlus claims that the new display shifts refresh rate quicker, making it even more power-efficient.

Charging

Both OnePlus 9 phones support 65W charging, which is extremely fast when compared to iPhones or Samsung Galaxy smartphones… but not nearly as fast as rivals from Xiaomi and Huawei.

Granted, 65W is more than most people would require, but power users will undoubtedly appreciate the ability to charge a smartphone in even less time. The Xiaomi 11T Pro, for example, can be charged in only 17 minutes.

Perhaps OnePlus could include this type of super-fast charging into the 10 Pro, or at the very least find a competitive charging speed to keep up with the competition.
