Long behold! Waze has finally introduced support for Apple Music into Waze Audio Player on iPhones. This will make it easier for you to pause, play and switch between songs while following the navigation. You will also get access to Apple Music’s wide selection of playlist directly through Waze.
You can access Apple Music via the Waze app and tap the music icon on the app’s home screen. Apple Music will now show up as an option if logged into an Apple Music account.
Apple Music was the last major audio streaming service that Waze lacked support for. By integrating Apple Music on the Waze app, Waze has built a bridge for people who use Apple for music streaming but are using Google-owned navigation services. In 2017 when Spotify was integrated as a supported service for the Waze app, it became one of the top downloaded navigation apps. Now they have launched support. We should be expecting more downloads over this week and next week.
As some people really like the Waze app but could not use it due to the lack of support it had for music streaming services. If you were not aware, Waze has support for other music streaming services as well, just to name a few, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music.
